Labour-saving devices such as dishwashers and communication tools such as computers are supposed to make our lives easier. However, some people argue that these devices only make them more difficult.
Does modern technology reduce or increase stress?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

This modern age of science and technology has introduced us to tons of groundbreaking inventions in consumer orientated gadgets. We are surrounded by numerous appliances like washing machine, dishwashers et cetera. Though it is undeniable that these commodities are meant to make our lives easier and more comfortable, many people argue that ultimately these only increases the level of stress. So are they really a blessing to the mankind or a curse in disguise?
First and foremost, in the current fast paced lifestyle the appliances are indispensable. It is unbelievable the amount of efficiency and effectiveness they bring to complete tacit chores. Imagine even few decades ago the amount of time housewives had to dedicate for doing the dishes or washing clothes. The time saved by washing machines, dish washes has enabled spending out time in more satisfactory manner. With the assurance of tasks getting done flawlessly, we can engage ourselves better in multi-tasking or even spend quality family time to get relieved from stress. Moreover in most of the cases the modern appliances are cost effective due to better energy efficiency and resource utilization capabilities. Thus these not only they save time but also reduces the financial burden as well.
It's undeniable that invention of computer has been the greatest blessing for twentieth century. Human race was able to jump by leaps and bounds ahead from their earlier generations. Computers not only enabled us performing accurate computation but at the same time equipped us performing groundbreaking scientific discoveries leading the course of life in a positive direction. Residents of modern era can avoid stress of trivial matters that our ancestors had to face in every step. Such as tax calculation or fast communications. In my opinion computers and smart devices are the biggest stressbusters for mankind.
However many people accuse the modern technology behind the stress lot of individuals are going through. It is inevitable that the comfort associated with the modern equipment has allured many of us into more lethargic lifestyle. Lack of physical activities is accelerating obesity and other derivative diseases. It is also undeniable that the people have become more isolated with the advent of smart phones and advanced gaming devices. Lack of human interaction and alienation is often responsible for the mental trauma. Although in my opinion people are gradually becoming aware of the harmful effects and taking initiatives to utilize modern technology in achieving more relaxed and healthy lifestyle.
In conclusion, it can be easily inferred from the above arguments that the benefits associated with the modern technologies in making our lives less stressful far outweighs the associated disadvantages. Thus it is a no brainer to me that the modern technology has led us practicing a better stress free life.

How are you doing these days? I hope all is well with you!
I have been planning to make a short visit to your part of the world this summer between 15th – 20th May. I have never visited the south and was hoping to explore some of the ancient ruins, the rich culture, and have a taste of the amazing food that your city is so famous for. Do you think a week-long visit will be enough to visit all the places and engage in some fun activities?
I was wondering if it is too much to ask if I can stay at your place for the duration. It would be lovely to catch-up with you after so many years; besides, I would feel more comfortable living with you than at a hotel surrounded with unfamiliar faces.
I don’t intend to be a burden, as all I am looking for is to stay in a family-like setup. I would pay for all my expenses during the stay, and hope that is okay with you.

Over the years, the world has witnessed a steady rise in innovative technologies that play a vital role in the accomplishment of certain labour intensive task in our daily lives. Nevertheless, there have been an increasing debate surrounding these devices whether it render the task tedious to finish or not. In my view, I strongly reckon that modern gadgets help us to be more effective and efficient.
Before the presence of these technologies, production was at a slow pace. There is no doubt that these multiple innovations have change not only our production pattern but our day to day lives. To begin with, technology help people to management their time effective and efficiently. This is because these devices accomplish huge amount of tasks in are relatively shorter time frame. For instance, a dishwasher is of utmost importance to restaurant as it help employees to wash all the dishes in a limited amount of time as compared to when it is been washed by a human.
Moreover, the flow of information from one place to another has been made easier thanks to these devices. Back in they days, people had to write letters to communicate with their counterparts, and this could take several days before reaching its destination. Today, when information is sent it is being recieved instantly with the help of a computer or a cellphone regardless of the location of the person while this was not possible some years back. Although these devices are valuable some people are still reluctant to adopt it perhaps because of they are not familiar to them.
In a nutshell, these wave of innovations have brought in some tools that are essential to the society. They have help to ease communication amongst people,and saves time. In the modern society we live in people should embrace these devices in order to carry out their task in a promptly manner because time, and communication are the most valued.

So, I will an internship at farm grape which is close to your home and we need a place to stay for 6 months. Is any place that we can rent or can we stay at your home because the farm is really close to your home and I think if I stay close with the farm, it will be easier for to us mobile from the farm to the place that we stay.

Dear Aunt Beth,
How are you? It's been a long time since I saw you and Uncle Ben. I am planning to make a visit to the school to get some documents for job hunting. I will be there on March 30. Since the requested documents will take maybe 3-5 days to be released, so I decided to stay for a few days or a week.
Also, I want to visit the new museum in the city while waiting for the documents. Maybe I can stay at your home for the said days I am staying? I miss your food and the bonding with Uncle Ben. And I feel more secure staying with you than renting a room or an apartment.

Technological advancements are mainly done to address the need or resolve a problem that we face frequently which is why appliances like Dishwashers, washing machine and computers are there to make our life easier. While some people would debate that such devices have increase the workload, I am of the opinion that usage of technology did reduced our day to day engagement in petty matters as long as we utilize these properly. In the following paragraphs we will be discussing whether technology helped us achieve its goals of reducing stress on ordinary human being.
Technology plays a major role in performing our day to day tasks. Whether we are working at home or in the office, its impossible now to imagine our lives without a car, washing machine, blender or a computer. For example in the older days for cooking; the ingredients would have to be chopped and grinded by hand, something that is replaced by an electronic blender and now Its difficult to find a household without it. Similarly washing clothes in the older days was a time consuming and hardworking task, but with induction of washing machines in our household this task is so simple that even early teenagers can easily handle it on their own.
Communication in the older days even after the introduction of landline based telephones was limited to the area where the device is installed. Contacting someone means both the persons must have the appliance and they must be available at the same time in order to make a contact. Whereas with mobile phones now every person is reachable within seconds of initiating the communication process without worrying about ones current location.
Every good thing can have some negative as well which we see in case of modern technology like too much use of mobile phone can result in a few health issues both physically and mentally which is why I am on the opinion that “appropriate” use of technology can be of great help to us. It exempts the stressful thoughts about a hard work that is planned to take place on a weekend or in the afternoon.
In conclusion I am of the opinion that the technological wonders like Washing machines, cell phones, dishwashers reduced the hard work one used to do to fulfill their daily tasks and thereby provided piece of mind to people responsible for these jobs.

I hope you and Aunt Musarrat are doing fine. You have been asking for sometime now about my plans to visit Lahore. Well I would like to inform you that I intend to visit the city next month 7th of November. I will be coming in on an official trip with some colleagues for 3 days but I plan to spend 4 more days there afterwards. I have already applied for the leaves and am hopeful to get an approval soon.
I am all excited about my visit and was thinking If I could stay at your place. It's been sometime since we met and will be great to catch up. This way I will also be able to meet Mazhar, Azhar and Aunt Farhat since they all live nearby. We can all go to dinner sometime or visit Race course park like the old days.

I’m hoping to visit the Bomay next month and I’ll be there for around a couple of weeks. I’ve been planning to come over, but due to my hectic office schedule I couldn’t make it. Although, I’ve been to there earlier , but that was with dad so don’t much about the places to visit.
I was trying to figure out which hotel to book for my stay. Since hotels in city centre are fairly expensive which I can’t afford at the moment. How about staying with you ? it will be fun though, we haven’t seen each other for ages, we can hand around and chill out. It ‘ll be fantastic opporunity to relive our cherishable childhood memories.

Hope you are doing great and in the best of spirits. I have been planning to visit Hayes, London, next Sunday for five days for some business purpose and fortunately, you have been also living in the same town. It is my first time to visit the east part of London, although I have explored other parts. Now, I am intrigued to know the culture of the eastern part and explore the mountain sites.
I am wondering, can I be allowed to stay at your residence for the time being. As my business trip is for three days, I will come a day prior. I will be arriving on Monday 23rd, June 2021 and will stay for four nights. Also, my mother told me to meet up with you all people while on my visits to your lovely city.
Sweetie, as I will be new in that city, can you please allow me to stay at your homes for some days. Actually, I am not much familiar with hotels and accommodation, in Hayes. Still, I have tried to book arrangements for my living in some homestay, but all in vain. I think people are afraid of the Coronavirus, so they are avoiding such type of visits to their homes.
However, I don't want any things to be imposed forcefully, kindly do let me know any kind of inconvenience caused by me. I don't want to burden you, my friend, as I am very well aware of the situations during the arrival of uninvited guests.
