Lecturer in Music at UCA
James is a lecturer and year leader in music composition & technology at the UCA, Farnham, specialising in recording, mixing, and mastering. Outside of academia, James is an experienced multi-instrumentalist, performer, composer and mastering engineer. James founded and runs the independent record label Rusted Tone Recordings, releasing contemporary ambient and experimental music from artists around the world.

This live session will provide a brief overview of the James’ background and the Music Composition & Technology course at the UCA. The webinar will then explore the subject of collaboration within music and beyond, asking the question: are we all collaborators?
